Nancy & Gavin’s Four Seasons Tower Bridge Wedding
Two ceremonies and one very beautiful London wedding
Nancy and Gavin had two ceremonies on their wedding day and the first was a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
It was something I’d never photographed before.
Nancy wore traditional Chinese dress. They served tea to their families and were given the most incredible amount of jewellery.
I loved getting to photograph a part of the day that was completely new to me.
There’s always something really special about being invited into a tradition that means so much to a family and getting to quietly document it as it happens.
Getting ready at the Four Seasons Tower Bridge
They both got ready at the Four Seasons at Tower Bridge before their second ceremony.
And this one had a very important entrance.
Their little boy came down the aisle in his own tiny Bentley with Gavin 🥹
Then Gavin saw Nancy.
And cried.
I do love a man who isn’t afraid to get into his feelings.
Portraits around the hotel
After the ceremony we took their portraits outside the hotel around those huge columns.
We also made very good use of the vintage car parked outside.
Because obviously.
The Four Seasons is one of those places where there’s plenty to work with without having to go very far. Strong architecture. Beautiful light. London right there around you.
Tower Bridge on one side and the Shard on the other
From there we headed upstairs to the penthouse for the reception.

The Shard on the other.
London really showing off.
One of my favourite things Nancy and Gavin did was go around every single table and have a drink with their guests.
It was such a lovely way of making sure they actually got a moment with everyone there.
Weddings move quickly and there are so many people pulling you in different directions. I loved that they made time for that.
Speeches, dancing and everyone joining in
Then came brilliant speeches, Jazz and the Tonics, a choreographed first dance and everyone joining them on the dance floor ❤️
It felt like the perfect way to finish a day that had already had so many different moments in it.

And a room full of people celebrating with them.
A very beautiful day and a lot of lovely little moments to photograph.
